Special: United&Unique – ESC Volunteers in Salzburg
Am Sonntag, den 8. Dezember ab 21:00 Uhr:
We live among you. There is a chance you don’t even know we are there… Society, like Santa, has its little helpers. And they are… pa-da-dam…volunteers!
On the 5th of December, the world celebrated an International Volunteer Day. This special day promotes and celebrates the work of volunteers leading social change all around the world. And it inspired us, the volunteer community of Salzburg, to make a small special show about our life!
Austria is an especially attractive land for volunteers. It lies in the very heart of Europe. Some come here enchanted by nature and mountains, or by the charm of Austrian culture and German language. Right now, there are around 25 European Solidarity Corps volunteers in Salzburg and its surroundings.
A volunteering project is a good challenge and a big adventure. Of course, volunteers are willing to participate not only for the sake of bare altruism. They work to gain experience, special skills and knowledge and establish personal contacts. Sure, we are working a lot – but we are having incredibly much fun!
You want to know more? Meet Joosep, Tania, Domitille, and Evita on air this Sunday! The show, moderated by Daryna Melashenko, will include:
- Short info about ESC and its volunteering projects,
- Favourite songs with nice personal and multinational touch,
- First-hand volunteer experiences in a small-round talk.
Stories to hear, music to enjoy, lands to discover… Turn it on!
